We took a break ahead of satara phata. It was chillin n my fingers were numb after ridin for 100 km in cold. Tried to contact Rossi & this time luck was with us, he answered the tring tring. He was not far away, so we decided to wait for him. In few mins we could hear the K&N roarin and the P180’s headlight in dark, rossi was here. Where we took 3 breaks Rossi had covered the distance non-stop jst to catch us, cheers to Rossi. He was cold & tired. I gave him the extra pair of gloves tht I had, bright yellow ones :-D. As rossi was too tired Anup volentired to ride the 180 with rossi as a pillion, he jst needs a reason to ride a higher cc bike :-D. Hopped on the bikes & started ridin again, I guess it was around 4 in the morn now. We reached Kolhapur around 6.00, 1 hr late frm our schedule. The ambition was thirsty for fule, so we parked by a BP pump on outskirts of kolhapur to refule it. I would recommed this pump as a pit stop for nyone on this route, its well equiped for ur needs from snacks to loo, if ur used to sleepin on grass ull love this place. Everyone was tired n exausted so we decided to have small at the pump, razor n anup were the first to lay on the grass:-D. Had a long nap for an hour, so now we were 2 hrs behind schedule. Nxt stop belgaum.

As we had lost time we decided to cover more ground by ridin non stop till Hubli. The roads were cherry on cream sort of thin, too good. Thx gov for thinkin out of box. If nyone wanted to stop for somethin instead of the whole group breakin we decided the individual would zoom past the lead cover some distance take a break n join the herd back. This trick worked n we were able to reach Hubli by 11.00, covered around 200 kms. The roads were jst too good after Kolhapur, the only obstacles were speed breakers of the Toll Plaza’s. Did some insane ridddin on the ZMA. Even with cross winds & a pillion shiva manages the pull the ZMA to 130+ (Saddle were there too filled with mineral water). For some distance I too tried the ZMA with Shiva as a pillion (I guess it feels a bit weired to sit on ur own bike as a pillion). Didn’t manage to achive those speeds but was not able to stop the Razor on his RTR zoom past me………. A bit embarrassing to see a 160cc overtaking a 225cc, sheer lack of experience. We stopped some place before Hubli and regrouped. There was a black hole in my stomach n was feeling a bit tried due to it. So we all decided to have breakfast, guess wht, Anup & Shiva had stocked bread butter jam in the saddlebags. The only problem was the spoon had been misplaced somewhere, so instead of using our fingers to apply the jam we dipped the bread in it and ate it like idli sambar, hehehe. Had some banana’s tooo.
